Verstovia/Arrowhead: 3,000 ft

Starts out with a lot of stairs and switchbacks. First two miles up to Picnic Rock are maintained, the last part of the trail opens up to alpine and is more of a challenge to ascend to the peak.
Mt. Edgecumbe Volcano: 3,202 ft
5.4 Miles, Challenging
Starts out with a lot of stairs and switchbacks. First two miles up to Picnic Rock are maintained, the last part of the trail opens up to alpine and is more of a challenge to ascend to the peak. Not to worry, last time it erupted was 2202 BC, unless you count the time a local put tires in the crater and lit them on fire for an April Fool's prank in 1974.
